SIS Expands Support Team

Due to the success of the Genesis software system SIS Solutions Ltd are pleased to announce the expansion of the support team, with the inclusion of Mandy Toms.
Mandy brings a wealth of experience with both a background in customer services and a technical background and a wealth of experience in IT, having worked previously at Bournemouth University, Unisys and a number of blue chip companies.
We've asked Mandy to let you know her background and give you an opportunity to get to know her and what she does.
"I have a degree in Psychology and Computing from Bournemouth University, the degree primarily focussed on how people and computers interact. This ideally suited my chosen career as a helpdesk analyst. I have worked for a number of blue chip companies in a customer service background and also have worked with relational database testing implementation/helpdesk for Unisys, Bournemouth University and other companies which I enjoyed immensely and has given me a wealth of experience to utilise for my new role."
"I work on the helpdesk here at SIS and also carry out the testing of new products. My role is to be the day to day first point of contact to customers. It involves lots of liaising with developers, addressing queries and ensuring all testing is carried out against the requirements documentation."
"The reason I joined SIS was because I was looking for a young friendly dynamic company with a good market reputation which I could really develop a career, and I didn't want to get stuck doing the same thing day in day out, so SIS seemed a really attractive proposition and would definitely keep me on my toes."
"Having used Genesis for a while now I realise what an excellent and versatile product it is, getting up-to-speed with Genesis took very little time. This was due to the ease of the product itself, and with the support of the development team and my immediate manager who took time to explain how things worked. Although I am relatively new I am always kept in the loop regarding any new developments and can always rely on them with confidence to assist with queries and ongoing requirements the customers may need."
